Team Management

Invite team members, assign roles, and manage permissions to collaborate effectively in Cucinovo.

Overview

Cucinovo lets you invite team members to collaborate on your recipes, ingredients, and procurement workflows. Each member is assigned a role that determines what they can see and do.

Team management is available on paid plans. Restaurant plans include unlimited team members. Household free-plan organizations are limited to a single member (the Owner).

Roles

Cucinovo has five roles, listed from most to least privileged:

  • Owner — full control over the organization, including billing, team management, and all resources. Each organization has exactly one Owner.
  • Manager — can manage team members and has full access to all recipes, ingredients, and procurement features. Cannot access billing.
  • Chef — can create and edit recipes, ingredients, and procurement items (grocery lists, prep lists, purchase orders). Cannot manage team members.
  • Staff — can work with shopping lists and procurement workflows. Has read-only access to recipes and ingredients.
  • Viewer — read-only access to everything. Cannot create, edit, or delete any resources.

Permissions can be customized per member by the Owner. The matrix above shows the default permissions for each role.

Inviting Members

Go to Settings

Click Settings in the sidebar to open the organization settings page.

Find Team Members

Scroll to the Team Members section, which shows all current members and their roles.

Click Invite Member

Click the Invite Member button to open the invitation form.

Enter their email

Type the email address of the person you want to invite.

Select a role

Choose a role from the dropdown. You can always change it later.

Send the invitation

Click Send Invite. The invitee receives an email with a link to join your organization. If they don't have a Cucinovo account yet, they will be asked to register first.

Plan Limits

Team Size by Plan

Restaurant — All paid plans include unlimited team members.

Household — Free: 1 member. Plus: up to 5 family members.
