Overview
The Settings page is where you configure your organization's preferences, billing, and integrations. Access it by clicking Settings in the sidebar.
Most settings can only be changed by the organization Owner or a Manager.
General Settings
The general section lets you configure the following organization-wide preferences:
- Organization Name — the display name shown in the sidebar and organization switcher.
- Currency — choose from 17+ supported currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, RON, and more). This affects how prices and costs display throughout the app, including ingredient prices, recipe costs, and shopping list totals.
- Timezone — used for date displays, event scheduling, and prep list dates.
Changing your currency does not convert existing prices. It only changes the currency symbol displayed. Update ingredient prices manually if you switch currencies.
Costing Settings
Cucinovo uses color-coded indicators to show how your food costs compare to your targets. Configure these thresholds in the costing section:
- Food Cost Thresholds — set the percentage breakpoints for green (healthy), yellow (warning), and red (over budget) margin indicators. These colors appear on recipe cost breakdowns and dashboard stats.
- Labor Hourly Rate — set the hourly rate used for recipe labor costing calculations. When you add prep time and cook time to a recipe, Cucinovo uses this rate to estimate the labor cost per portion.
Labor costing requires the Pro plan for restaurant organizations.
Gmail Integration
Connect your Gmail account to send purchase orders directly to suppliers via email. Go to Settings > Integrations > Connect Gmail.
This uses OAuth for secure authentication — your Gmail credentials are never stored. The connection is encrypted and can be revoked at any time from the integrations settings.
Danger Zone
The bottom of the Settings page includes actions that cannot be undone:
Delete Organization — permanently removes the organization and all its data, including recipes, ingredients, team members, and billing history. This action requires confirmation by typing the organization name.
Transfer Ownership — transfers the Owner role to another team member. The current owner becomes a Manager. This also transfers billing responsibility.
