Overview
The Meal Planner helps you organize your week by assigning recipes to specific days. Once your plan is set, Cucinovo can generate a shopping list with all the ingredients you need — quantities combined and costs estimated.
Meal Planning is designed for Household organizations. Restaurant organizations use Prep Lists and Events for similar workflows.
Planning Your Week
Click Meal Planner in the sidebar to open the weekly planner view.
Use the date picker at the top to navigate to the week you want to plan. The planner shows Monday through Sunday by default.
For each day, click to add one or more recipes. Search your recipe library and select the meals you want to prepare.
Adjust the number of servings per recipe. This scales the ingredient quantities when generating your shopping list.
Use the weekend toggle to include or exclude Saturday and Sunday from your meal plan if you prefer to plan only weekdays.
Generating a Shopping List
Once your week is planned, click Create Shopping List to generate a consolidated list of everything you need to buy.
Cucinovo aggregates all ingredients across all days in your plan. Duplicate ingredients are combined with smart unit conversion — for example, 500g of flour on Monday and 300g on Wednesday become 800g total. The shopping list also includes estimated costs based on your ingredient prices.
Check your pantry against the generated list. You can remove items you already have or adjust quantities before heading to the store.
Plan Availability
Meal Planner is available on the Plus plan (€9/month or €7/month billed annually) for Household organizations. Restaurant organizations use Prep Lists and Events instead.
