Bring your recipes over from wherever they live today
Upload a spreadsheet, a Word or OpenDocument file, an export from Paprika or Mealie, or just paste a recipe URL. Cucinovo reads the structure, and you review every recipe on an interactive screen before anything is saved. If your format is something else entirely, we migrate it for you personally.
Start your migrationWhy Recipe Migration?
The recipes a kitchen actually depends on rarely live in one tidy format. Some are in a spreadsheet, some in a Word document with a table per dish, some in an export from a recipe app, and a few are still on cards nobody has typed up. A migration tool that only accepts one of those formats leaves someone re-typing everything else by hand, which is exactly the kind of week-long chore that stalls a switch before it starts.
Cucinovo's importer reads recipes directly out of CSV, TSV, and Excel spreadsheets (including block-formatted cost sheets with a recipe laid out per section), Word (.docx) and OpenDocument (.odt) files with a recipe card per section, exports from Paprika and Mealie, and recipe URLs from most sites that publish structured recipe data. A single OpenDocument file with dozens of recipe cards and a photo per dish imports as that many separate recipes, photos included. Every import lands on an interactive review screen, where you can fix a misread line, resolve a duplicate, or skip a recipe, before anything is committed to your library.
These are examples, not a boundary. If your recipes live somewhere the importer doesn't recognize, whether that's a different app entirely or a folder of scanned index cards, email us and we will migrate them for you personally. The format your recipes happen to be in today should never be the reason you stay somewhere else.
What you get with Recipe Migration
Reads structure, not just text
Spreadsheets, Word documents, and OpenDocument files each keep their own structure: tables, numbered steps, and section headers. Cucinovo reads that structure directly instead of asking you to reformat everything first.
Review before anything is saved
Every import stops at an interactive review screen. Fix a misread ingredient line, resolve a duplicate against your existing library, or skip a recipe entirely, all before a single record is committed.
Multiple recipes, one document
A single document with dozens of recipe cards, complete with photos, imports as that many separate recipes. You don't need to split the file first.
Not limited to what the parser handles
If your recipes live in a format the importer doesn't recognize, we migrate them for you personally, so the format you happen to be using today is never the reason to stay somewhere else.
